Ocarina Hardware Watch started as a side project between two friends who kept refreshing the same forum threads for news on the rumored Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 hardware, and figured we might as well build something useful out of the habit.
We're not journalists, not affiliated with any gaming outlet, and definitely not affiliated with Nintendo. We're just fans who wanted one place to track the status of this hardware, browse what Zelda-related products actually exist right now, and read a bit of honest context on the history and timing patterns behind Nintendo's special-edition releases.
What we do here
- Track the public status of the rumored hardware, from rumor through release
- Pull in headlines from public news sources so you don't have to hunt for them
- Maintain a directory of current Zelda-related products with links to retailers
- Write occasional posts on the history and patterns behind Nintendo's hardware releases
What we don't do
- Sell anything ourselves — every product link goes to the retailer's own page
- Claim any official status, insider access, or confirmed information beyond what's publicly reported
- Reproduce Nintendo's artwork, screenshots, or copyrighted text
